R. James Woolsey

R. James Woolsey served as Director of Central Intelligence from 1993-1995.
He is currently Vice President of Booz Allen Hamilton's Global Strategic Security practice.

Woolsey previously served on the National Commission on Terrorism.  He was Under Secretary of the Navy, Ambassador to the Negotiation on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE),
and was General Counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on
Armed Services.

Woolsey was appointed by President Reagan as Delegate at Large to the U.S.-Soviet Strategic Arms Reduction Talks (START), and the Nuclear and Space Arms Talks (NST).  He also was an Advisor with the U.S. Delegation to the Strategic Arms Limitation Talks (SALT I).
Woolsey served on the President's Commission on Defense Management, President's Commission on Federal Ethics Law Reform, and President's Commission on Strategic Analysis.
He was a Captain in the U.S. Army and was a staff member for the National Security Council.  Mr. Woolsey is a graduate of Stanford (Phi Beta Kappa), holds an M.A. from Oxford University (where he was a Rhodes Scholar), and received a L.L.B. from Yale Law School (where he was Managing Editor of the Yale Law Journal).

 

Oliver “Buck” Revell          

Oliver “Buck” Revell is a former U.S. Marine Corps Aviator and famed FBI Agent and Associate Deputy Director, serving from 1964 to 1994.  As a member (1982‑1991) of the President's Council on Integrity and Efficiency, he was Chairman of the Council's Committee on Integrity and Law Enforcement.  He was a member of the Attorney General's Economic Crime Council and served as Chairman, INTERPOL Conference on International Financial Crime, Cannes, France, in 1983.  He was a member of the National Foreign Intelligence Board, as well as the Terrorist Crisis Management Committee and the Deputies Committee of the National Security Council, and the White House Oversight Working Group on Narcotics. He served as Vice Chairman of the Interagency Group for Counterintelligence.  In 1985 he served as a member of the Senior Review Group of the Vice President's Task Force on Terrorism. He served as a U.S. delegate to the United Nations International Conference on Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Vienna, Austria, June 1987.  Mr. Revell was a member of the Senior Policy Group of the Vice President’s Task Force on Border Control Issues in 1988; he also served as an Advisor to the President’s Commission on Aviation Security and Terrorism in 1989. He was a member of "The Executive Session on Policing", Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, 1987‑1991.

 

In September 1987, Mr. Revell was placed in charge of a joint FBI/CIA/U.S. military operation (Operation Goldenrod), which led to the first apprehension overseas of an international terrorist.  President Reagan commended him for his leadership of this endeavor.  In 1989, President Bush awarded Mr. Revell the Presidential Rank Award of "Distinguished Senior Executive" and in 1990 the President conferred upon Mr. Revell the "Meritorious Senior Executive" award. In April of 1991 Mr. Revell received a Commendation from Dick Cheney, the Secretary of Defense, for his significant contributions to the National Defense, including the Desert Storm Campaign. In May of 1991 he was awarded "The FBI Medal for Meritorious Achievement", and in June 1991 he was awarded the “National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal” by the Director of Central Intelligence, William H. Webster.  He retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation on August 31, 1994 with the rank of Associate Deputy Director. In October of 1994, Mr. Revell was awarded the "Albert J. Wood Public Affairs Award" by the Middle East Forum "for his efforts in the fight against International Terrorism".

 

During his career as a FBI Official and subsequently as an International Security Consultant Mr. Revell has authored numerous articles on Terrorism, Counter-Intelligence and Organized Crime. He has spoken and lectured at the National and International level on these and other Criminal Justice and National Security subjects on a frequent basis. He served as an advisor on International Organized Crime to the National Security Council in 1996, and as a consultant to the President’s Commission on Critical Infrastructure Protection in 1997.  From 1999 to 2003, he was President of the Law Enforcement Television Network (LETN); a nation-wide training, information, education, news satellite system for law enforcement, located in Carrollton, Texas; as well as being a member of the Executive Assessment Panel, Law Enforcement Technology and Policy, National Institute of Justice, Washington, D.C.  In 1997 he was Co-Chairman, Threat Assessment Group, Task Force on Department of Defense Responses to Transnational Threats, Washington, D.C.

 

He has been interviewed or served as a Commentator on numerous National and International television news and commentary programs; such as "60 Minutes", "Face the Nation", "Nightline", “Dateline”, and various CNN programs. He is a frequent commentator for National Public Radio, NPR and the Fox News Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Court TV, the British BBC, the Japanese NHK, and the Canadian Broadcast Company, CBC.

 

 

 

Neil C. Livingstone

Neil C. Livingstone is the CEO and founder of GlobalOptions, Inc., an international risk management and business solutions company headquartered in Washington, D.C.  GlobalOptions, Inc. is part of the GlobalOptions Group, a public company with $70 million in annual sales.

Dr. Livingstone was described by NBC's Tom Brokow as "one of this nation's preeminent authorities on terrorism."  He has authored nine books on terrorism, security, and foreign policy and published more than 200 articles. 

He has spent more than two decades advising clients regarding a wide array of complex and intractable problems, ranging from the prevention of industrial espionage to conducting internal investigations, suppressing the theft of intellectual property, advising corporations on political and economic risks, protecting corporate leaders and celebrities, and recovering hostages and kidnap victims.

Leading corporations and institutions routinely seek his views on a variety of topics.  To date he has delivered more than 500 major addresses, both in the U.S. and abroad.  He also has advised top government officials and testified before Congress.

An Honors graduate of the College of William and Mary, Dr. Livingstone also has an M.A. from the University of Montana, and an M.A., M.A.L.D., and Ph.D. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
