Law Enforcement Applications ● Crime Scene
and Evidence Control VUANCE (FORMERLY SUPERCOM) Incident
Response Management Systems are the ideal way for law
enforcement agencies to increase officer safety,
streamline paperwork, promote effective prosecutions,
and maximize the number of personnel in service through
the use of our cutting-edge technology.
Officer Safety
VUANCE (FORMERLY SUPERCOM) smart card systems ensure scene security by
issuing and managing identification that carries
encrypted information and electronic keys specific to
the cardholder to eliminate impersonation, forgery, and
use of expired/revoked I.D.
Furthermore, our solutions include mobile ID readers
that can scan smart cards or 2D barcodes, to give
officers the ability to scan driver’s licenses and
non-driver ID cards, automatically loading the
information for DMV, NCIC, or local databases for
criminal or driver’s status checks; eliminating the need
to take your eyes off suspects to enter data into a
computer, typos, or the transposing of numbers by
officers or dispatchers while checking individuals
through in-car computers or through radio
dispatchers.
In tactical situations, our Pure-RF, Radio Frequency
Identification (RFID) tags which are small,
motion-activated devices that add a real-time active
tracking component to tactical, corrections, or other
applications, allowing immediate and definitive response
times to distress calls, property tracking, and
transports.
Our line of Communications Interoperability equipment
also allows officers on an interagency scene the ability
to communicate with any radio or cellular phone,
regardless of type of radio/phone or frequency.
This way, vital information regarding an interagency
response can be communicated to all personnel on
scene.
Streamline Paperwork Our
smart-card, RFID, and database applications allow users
to load information and transaction from these systems
to reporting templates, to allow less man-hours spent on
paperwork and after-action reporting, and more time in
the field. Furthermore, use of our smart card
applications can automate the time and attendance
process, eliminating overtime slip processing and
allowing supervisors the ability to monitor manpower
usage and overtime allocations in a simple, rapid
manner.
Crime Scene and Evidence
Control Deployment of our mobile Dynagates
in conjunction with smart-card technology gives your
agency the ability to process crime scenes with an
absolute degree of security, where a headcount of all
personnel who entered the scene can be accomplished
through smart-card transactions, while our proven
smart-chip technology (which is the same as is within
the smart card) is mounted on stickers to be placed
within evidence bags, on photo disks (or film
rolls), or on evidence tags to initiate an
iron-clad, digital chain of custody starting at the
scene, and registering chain of custody transactions at
all points of transfer (property room, lab, courthouse,
etc.) with biometric (fingerprint) verification, which
is impossible to forge (as signatures can be).
The following solutions are part of a perfect
solution for law enforcement operations and
incident
response/command:
Smart-Disaster
Site Management Systems operate with a
robust 900 MHz line of sight communications and battery
powered tripod checkpoints to assure operation in any
condition, regardless of the lack of
infrastructure.
The
Dynagate provides battery-powered smart-card
access control units with or without biometric
verification; which works off-line or using an on-board
Cisco Router to communicate wirelessly to our Smart Gate
software.
Handheld
readers can verify smart cards, 2D barcodes
(Driver’s Licenses), and fingerprints in a small,
lightweight reader.
Pure-RF Radio
Frequency Identification Tags are small,
motion activated ID tags that can track movements within
areas for total, real-time
accountability.
Communications
Interoperability Bridges give an incident
commander the ability to link radio and telephonic
communications devices from any organization together,
to ensure a constant flow of communication; in a small,
portable solution.
Mobile Credentialing
and Enrollment Stations give users the
ability to issue smart-card credentials and database
updates on-scene in a mobile environment, to ensure the
security and accountability of a site and all personnel
responding therein.
Smart
Cards give organizations the ability to
identify personnel in a completely secure way, which not
only curbs counterfeiting and impersonation, but also
allows important data on the cardholder to be stored on
the card itself, allowing rapid access of security,
medical, and notification information for first
responders and incident commanders that may encounter
the cardholder.
Smart Gate and Magna
databases are secure database applications
that tie these solutions into the command center
software so that the scene can be monitored, secured,
and controlled on any Windows-based
computer.
