With the acquisition of Pure-RF, VUANCE'S (FORMERLY SUPERCOM) S-DSMS can be equipped with RFID Units; which are small, motion-activated devices that add a real-time active tracking component to security, cargo, transportation, corrections and fire/rescue operations.   

Each unit has a unique identifying number, which is motion activated by a 433 MHz broadcast, that sends signals to readers in a 5 to 10,000 foot range to: track & trace personnel and property and/or Detect Motion of personnel and property.  These weatherproof and shock resistant units are inexpensive and easily attached to key chains, uniform equipment, property, or vehicles to give you ID and tracking capabilities wherever you need them.
