When emergency situations arise knowing what resources are available is extremely important. The RAPTOR ID Advanced Authentication and Validation system is a trusted secure personal identification and acute credentialing platform that allows emergency managers to effectively assign personnel, while protecting them on the scene.
RAPTOR ID is a tool allowing for the compartmented storage and secure retrieval of demographic, training, and privileging data, using a system of advanced registration, authentication, and verification. RAPTOR system’s data is stored directly onto the memory chip of ‘smartcard’ allowing that information to be viewed in a disconnected environment.
RAPTOR ID meets the new credentialing guidelines of the Improving America's Security Act of 2007 (H.R.1), which states:
A ‘credential' … can authenticate and verify the qualifications and identity of managers of incidents, emergency response providers, and other appropriate personnel…by ensuring that such personnel possess a minimum common level of training, experience, physical and medical fitness, and capability appropriate for their position.
RAPTOR ID has been developed and refined with the goal of 100% compliance with:
- The Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 201 – PIV I and II
- DHHS-HRSA Early and Advanced Registration of Volunteer Health Care Professionals (ESAR-VHP) Interim Guidelines and Operating Procedures.
